How do I submit my dictations?
Dictations are submitted via a digital handheld recorder or by
telephone via a toll-free line (available 24 hours, 7 days a week).
How are my dictations handled?
When dictations are received by RX Transcription your assigned personal
medical transcriptionist (MT) will automatically receive your
dictation. Personal MT assignment is based on your specialty and
estimated dictation amount. In addition, your MT has a quality
assurance supervisor, with more than 20 years of medical transcription
experience who monitors accuracy and ensures available for online
processing.
How do I receive my transcribed reports?
You receive your transcriptions via the Internet using a protected
username and password @ www.rxtrans.com. Once online, you can monitor
your transcription workflow, i.e. playback dictations, view, print
(coversheet, envelopes, reports), edit, search database and read MT
comments.
How long are dictations and transcriptions available “on-line”?
You can listen to your dictations for up to 30 days on-line;
transcribed reports are available on-line absolutely free for as long
as you are an RX Transcription customer and can be archived to a
secondary media file.
Can you use normals/templates?
Yes, we can incorporate any normals/templates that you routinely use in your dictations.
Can I view my transcriptions with other software?
Yes, transcriptions are returned via the Internet in a RTF (Rich Text
Format) file which can be opened using virtually any word processing
program, including Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, Lotus, etc.
How do I know when my transcriptions are available for review?
You will be notified via e-mail when dictations are available for your review.
Are my dictations and transcriptions safe?
All communication between your computer and our website is protected
through the use of Secure Socket Layer encryption (SSL). No one can
“listen” to the data exchange between computers. This is the same level
of security utilized by large E-Commerce and banking sites. This can be
verified by the small padlock icon (designation for a secure site),
utilized by Netscape and Internet Explorer.
What are the turnaround times?
Np problem sir
You select turnaround times to meet your needs – 24-hour or 48-hour.
You may also choose different default turnaround times by report type
(STAT processing are also available).
Does RX Transcription offer software and upgrades?
Yes, we will provide and install on-site, full-featured transcription
software and upgrades at no additional charge to our clients.
How much does the service cost?
Charges are on a per line basis, with no charge for STATs. Our rates
are considerably less in comparison to in-house or other outsourced
agencies, estimating 20% and up. This is based on innovative use of
transcription methods, i.e. templates and efficient workflow.
Can I track my monthly billing?
You can view up-to-date line counts via our website on daily basis.
Detailed billing is processed at the beginning of every month.
